Your music stays yours

Most "online" drum removers upload your song to a server you don't control. We don't. DrumRemover does the AI separation inside your browser, so your audio is never uploaded, never stored, and never seen by anyone — not even us.

  • No file ever leaves your device
  • Nothing is saved on a server — there's no server in the loop
  • No account, no email, no tracking of your audio
  • Works offline once the model is cached

How to remove drums from a song

1

Add your song

Drop in an MP3, WAV or FLAC. It's decoded locally — no upload.

2

The AI loads once

Your browser fetches the AI model a single time and caches it, with a progress bar so you know what to expect.

3

Drums removed

The model splits the track and drops the drum stem, leaving a clean drumless mix.

4

Download

Save the result. Everything happened on your device.

What people use it for

“I drop a song in, get a drumless mix, and play along to it. The fact that it never uploads my files is the cherry on top — no sketchy server holding my band’s demos.”
Marcus T.
Drummer
“Used three "free" online removers before this — all wanted a sign-up or slapped a watermark on the export. This one just works in the tab and the stems are clean enough to resample.”
Priya N.
Bedroom producer
“Made drumless backing tracks for Sunday rehearsal in a few minutes. Loved that I could do it on the church laptop without installing anything or sending audio anywhere.”
Diego R.
Worship music director
“I strip the drums so students can hear the bass line clearly. It runs offline once loaded, which is perfect for my classroom’s flaky wifi.”
Sam K.
Music teacher

Drum remover FAQ

Is the drum remover really free?

Yes. Removing drums from your songs is completely free, with no account, no sign-up, and no watermark. There is nothing to install.

Do my files get uploaded to a server?

No. This is what makes us different: the AI runs entirely inside your browser. Your audio is decoded and processed on your own device and never gets uploaded anywhere. Nothing is stored, nothing is sent.

How does an AI drum remover work?

It uses an AI source-separation model (Demucs) to split a song into separate stems — drums, bass, vocals and other instruments. To remove the drums we simply drop the drum stem and recombine the rest into a clean drumless track.

Why does it download a model the first time?

Because the AI runs on your device instead of our servers, your browser downloads the model once (about 80 MB). After that it is cached, so future songs start instantly and work even offline.

What audio formats can I use?

MP3, WAV, FLAC, M4A and OGG all work. You get the drumless result back as a downloadable audio file.

What can I use a drumless track for?

Drummers practise by playing along to the song without the original drums; producers remix and resample; transcribers study the bass and harmony; karaoke and backing-track makers strip percussion. It is a fast way to remove drums from a song online.
